Freshmen Saturday is a time honored tradition at Wabash. A new class of Wabash Men arrive on campus with parents saying their final goodbyes. A wide range of emotions is common but never grows old. Excitement, nervousness, ambition, sadness, and so on are all wrapped into one day. As a coach, I know that this is a starting point for who and where these young men will be in four years. Every Wabash baseball player, regardless of age, has had ‘their’ Freshmen Saturday. After working with this class as a recruiter for the past year, I’m excited to finally get them on the field wearing the red & white. Welcome Class of 2013!
