Excellent post, Prof. Howland. I have been impressed by this trip from the beginning. Your discussion of the poor state of health care in these regions is quite intelligent. I am reminded of a question I like to ask in my classes: if there is enough food in the world (or nation) to feed everyone, why are people going hungry? Simple answers not welcome!

I am a student at Ndalani High in Kenya(Matuu). I also happen to be the school’s Debate club Chairman.You guys really rocked us. I am in the 4red classroom where John and Professor Bill Cook were. Hope you guys come again. When you guys went everyone was like “I want to be like Bill Cook” (me been no exception). I really appreciate your visit. You were really an inspiration.
