Thoughts From David Haggard

I had a great experience in New Orleans.  There are many things I learned about myself and about the Wabash Community.  I always knew that Wabash Men worked hard in the classroom but now I know that the same hard work can be used to serve others. We made a difference down here, and I know that we have positively impacted lives. When I see the way that New Orleans community embraced us, it made all the work we completed worth while. Coming down and showing New Orleans that there are some people who have not forgotten about what has happened affects the whole community, not the work that we have completed.  This gives them hope and hope is all most of these people have.
