Well said Seton. I felt much like that at the end of my first year. Enjoy your next three years they will flash by in an instant. Wabash in many senses becomes that sacred alma mater. I remembering noticing older men weeping as they stood to sing that song at Homecoming my Freshman year. I wondered what Wabash must do for a person. I weep those tears everytime I rise to sing that song. There are many moments when I find it hard to believe that I graduated now so long ago. You have earned your summer and the right to return again to those sacred portals in August. Have a great summer.

I saw "The Ides of March" this past weekend as well and was pretty darn disappointed. I'm a huge Ryan Gosling fan and would probably leave my husband for him, but I thought the movie was shallow. The plot was superficial and I'm pretty sure it took the writers all of a couple of hours to write the script. Fortunately, there was a star-studded cast of outstanding actors, which saved it from being just plain bad.

If you do run for office, my dear nephew, I'll vote for ya'...

At IU it depends on the fraternity, some don't dress up at all. I was surprised.

I have run that race! It was my first marathon. In my modest opinion it is one heck of a way to run a first marathon. Most marathons are easier to run trust me. I enjoyed and was really proud of that feat until I ran the JFK Ultra. It is a well run race and a fifty miler. (All humility aside I took 100th out of 1017 in the JFK) I was and am pretty proud of the one. Good luck on your run.
