With another conference meet under the belt, the team placed fourth out of the ten teams we faced, losing only to Kenyon, Denison, and DePauw. Four school records fell, including two by Zech Banks in the 200 IM and 200 Breaststroke, and two by Aaron Troyer in the 100 Backstroke and 200 Backstroke. It was one of our strongest performances since I have been at the school! I am proud of the team for working so hard this year.
Now that swimming is done, it will be interesting to see what I can do with my newfound free time. Maybe study, maybe relax, I am not sure! One thing is for sure, though, being out of school for three days puts you a little behind in the paperwork. Most of it is not a big deal, as it is easy to climb back in after a few missed days.
At Wabash starting Wednesday, Professor Abbott will be premiering the play Take Me Out by Richard Greenberg, for the first time at our school. I definitely plan on going to this play, and I will be sure to update you on the happenings this week.
To catching up on schoolwork, Wabash Always Fights!
