The End of the Break

Snow on Campus Didn’t Last Long This Year

After some grueling two-a-day swim practices over Christmas break, school is right around the corner again. Classes are looking fun this semester, as I am taking a few film courses, a neuroscience class, psychology literature review, and computer science. It should be an interesting semester to say the least! Today the swim team just finished a tri-meet against University of Indianapolis. We made some great showings, even with fatigue and soreness. We are now heading into the homestretch of the season, and some of us will begin our taper. In a couple months, we will be heading into the conference meet!

If anyone is familiar with the music genre “dubstep,” you might know it by its crazy and sometimes annoying “wub” sounds. Whether you want to believe it or not, making those wobbles and wiggles is actually extremely hard, and I enjoy the music and the challenge of making it. I usually do not like to showcase work that I have done, but I feel like this is one our first legitimate songs, and I am excited to show you guys what I have made. My brother and I have been working on producing music for a couple of years now, and we are now starting to hit on our producing skills. Our “band name” is called Dyadic. If anyone is interested in listening to our music, feel free to listen to it! If you like it, be sure to let me know! Click here for our bandpage on Facebook. Click here to see a youtube version of one of our songs.

Even with the disappointment of coming back to Wabash with little snow, the break was enjoyable and fun. Happy break to everyone, and let’s start this new school year with a bang! Wabash Always Fights!
