It is that time of the month when swim season progresses, and the meets start piling in. With swimming comes extremely hard work and practices, and it can sometimes be hard to make it through the day after a 5:30 AM swim practice. This week has been difficult, like always, but we managed to have a little fun during that time. On Tuesday, instead of a normal practice, coach proposed that we learn how to do the Youtube sensation “Gangnam Style.” In 15 minutes, the team choreographed a horrendous rendition of the song, and we were able to get out of practice a little bit earlier than usual. Yesterday, for Halloween, we did a candy set, where we tried to reach goal times in practice by swimming various events in 25, 50, 100, and 200 yards. Let’s just say that sometimes when the going gets tough, its good to add a little fun to the mix!

Last Weekend, we were hosted by Denision Swimming in its first official meet at Denison’s New Swimming Facility
This Friday in the afternoon, we will be traveling to Rose-Hulman Institute to compete. Afterward, the following morning that is, we will host an inter-squad meet between the freshman and the sophomores. It should be interesting how the meet turns out!
