Dr. John E. Aden ’92 – museum’s new exec. director

Dr. John Aden ’92 is the new executive director of the African/African American Historical Society Museum in Fort Wayne, IN.  His first few months have been busy planning enhancements and employment of exisiting museum exhibits, and seeking funding for digital classroom experience, a mobile museum, and visiting exhibits.

After Wabash, John earned a master’s degree, 1995 and a Ph.D., 2003 in history with focus on Africa from Indiana University. He was a Committee on Institutional Cooperation Fellow, an Eli Lilly Teaching Fellow, and a J. William Fulbright Fellow.  John was Assistant Professor of History at Wabash from 2003 – 2009.
