This morning was a special treat. We had 18 young Wallies dresses in their finest- mostly coats and ties- worshiping at the Abyssinian Baptist Church. They experienced a sermonic form- something we covered in class in significant detail- in all its richness and power. We then hiked a mile down Malcolm X Bvld. to Sylvia's restaurant (The Queen of Soul Food). We enjoyed a fantastic lunch and live music. Oh, and we met Sylvia too.
